Some of block or something that you need to unlock that allows a super weapon. Of course it would need a huge disadvantage, so I was thinking something like when you activate it it requires charging up, you can't move over 100 m/s, most of your energy is drained (you still have some defense). Basically something that allows you to destroy space stations without shooting ath them for 45 minutes.

Hi,

so you want your own little Death-Star? Well, drawback is: A single fighter can kill you :)

Have you tried Coax Railguns? There are a few that deal 60k damage per hit (yes, if it hits anything).

A good combi of factory made tesla and railguns would do the same trick. There are normal railguns that deal 60 k dmg if you find the right factory
You can learn without knowing, but never know without learning

Turret Factories really need turret size change (by the same way as usual turret stat changes, by just increasing the primary good it's made of (usually Steel).
Being restricted to non-coax for most of the game and having constant problems with weapon size for fitting hardpoints is painful (my latest scavengers are huge to accomodate size-2 salvage beams).
The size change would however cause a size multiplier on all other components though.
Bonus: by increasing the secondary good it's made of (like wires or platinum), it would multiply shot size and recoil ;D.
