You all might know that, playing Avorion via Hamachi is possible but the performance is bad. Some friends of mine have tested that. So to connect via Hamachi internal IP is possible, if we use (whatsmyip adress) 178.xxx.xxx.xx:24000 noone can connect to the server. Ports have been forwarded, no firewall is active. help "Server adress 178.xxx.xxx.xxx:24000 is not responding."

You've done all the things that are necessary to host the server. All I can tell you is to double-check your ports/firewall/router settings. Maybe try to ping the machine you want to host the server on, and see if that works. You can test different ports with this software (assuming you're using windows):

https://code.google.com/p/paping/

Use it in the cmd of windows, like that:

paping.exe 178.xxx.xxx.xx -p 24000 -c 4

Check the output you get there.
#define TRUE FALSE // happy debugging suckers

If you need help, please post in the forum, don't PM me. If there's something that only I can help you with, contact me via mail.
